March 04 Boarding in Penang ~2007~(From SP to Penang...)
Well, my family moved over to Penang to live in 2007* The apartment was not completed yet....so we swapped over to plan B!!! It was...boarding at Aunty Julia's boarding house~ We were not the only boarding kids there, haha!!! I have 2 sisters...and we shared one room, next to us were 3 strange boys, at least that was what we thought in the first place, haha!!! We even had nicknames for them: "The Tall One," that was what we called Chuan Lin when we didn't know his name...Next is "The Fat One," yes, it suits him a lot, his name, which we found out later on, was Chin Li (We call him Li for short). Next was either "The Short One or Skinny One"...his name is Min (Don't you think this is a bit funny? One tall, one fat, and one short). Anyways, we always have tuition at night with Aunty Julia. After that, we would usually "fight" with the boys, with Li the most!!! I'll take the sprayer which kakak uses to iron the clothes~my sister would take the feather duster, and together we would attack Li...(Chin Li started it!!!). Li would use either a whole role of toilet paper to throw at us or a thick book to fight back...it was so funny, we couldn't sleep after that^^ There were days the boys couldn't wake up on time and they had to walk all the way to school, which was at HBC then!!! Once, we went swimming for our spare time, and it was totally WEIRD...none of us (nor them) dared to go in the water, so kakak went in first, then us...(This proves that girls are braver than boys, lol)!!! We cycled too, you should have seen Chuan Lin cycling, it was funny...his legs were too long for the bike, we had a great time, Yu Jin was there for a day, haha!!! Of course we played ping pong!!! Chuan Lin won so many times...I had to slap myself to make sure that wasn't a nightmare, haha!!! There was a yoga lesson going on then, and the ping pong ball always flew to their direction, I have more to tell you about that!!! Until next time my friends!!! February 24 Prison Break(A Pain in the Neck) The starting of 2007 was a B-E-A UTIFUL moment!!! I had been released from jail the year before that...and instantly, I ran away from prison as if my life depended on it!!!(Note to self: SP friends must not read this) When I was in SP, the school I attended was GRACE homeschool, (They should change the name)!!! I suffered aching legs due to standing on chairs, swollen fingers due to writing lines, exhaustion for cleaning either the school or the preschool section along the block and etc... Oh yea, the worst part was cleaning the preschool section!!! We get fined just with a little speck of dirt on the ground, or a little bit of dust on the tables, and yadaa yadaaa!!! Imagine six year old kids cleaning toilets, wiping tables, and hand-mopping floors!!! Ridiculous!!! If placed in a scenario like this, anyone would cry!!! (I admit it, I cried a couple of times) Despite all of the problems and terrifying schooling days, I survived!!! God blessed us with a new home, right here in Penang!!! My new school is wonderful, though the first day I started schooling was a bit weird...all those staring faces!!! Made me feel like I came from another planet, in my case, another town!!! That'll be another story in my next blog, don't forget to read my other CRAZY TRUE stories!!! Until another time folks, right now my brain has to rest...haha!!!
